Just saw your question. We have been Traveling and diving to St Croix for 26 years and have used several of the dive operators on island. We have no complaints at all with any of them. We spend most our time along the north shore of the island as that is where our favorite dive sites are. As well as our place.

I’m assuming your staying on the west end of the island. If so you want to try Turtles for lunch; fresh in house baked bread for sandwiches and upstairs a great place to go for drinks in the evening.

Things to do DIVE; tour of the Cruzan Rum factory $5 per person taste testing after. Walk to the tide pools stop at the Carambola Resort tell the guard at the gate your head to the dive stop in and say hello to Mel And Greg they can get you started or just park inside the gate the guard will show you where and direct you on your way. Visit to the St Georges Botanical garden and definitely visit Point Udell.

Places to eat on the North side of the island 1. Off the Wall, is a beach bar good food and great sunsets. 2. Eat at Cane Bay they’ll be closed through most of the month of October; but if your there late enough in the month they have absolutely fantastic food. 3. Rowdy Joe’s great homemade ice cream good eclectic bar food. 4. for a late night hang out try above the cliff.

Downtown Christianstede on the water 1. Angry Nates and the Fort Cristian Brew Pub good bar food. The Brew Pub is the islands only microbrewery. 2. Rum Runners a great restaurant with a great view.

You can also try Salude Bistro a mid island restaurant and bar. It has great food and the bar stays open late.
