Apparently there is some spearfishing going on at Barnegat Inlets south jetty http://www.divebuddy.com/divesite.aspx?DiveSiteID=4928 Three divers were injuried last month when a 6’ Tsunami swept them 300 yards back toward the bay in what had to be a wild ride.
I haven’t dove that site yet so I can’t say what’s there. If someone is up to an exporitory dive let me know.
I was in Shark River Basin Saturday and saw spearo’s and a few legal size flounder, not together :)
