I would just say that there are many many things you can do online - scuba diving sure isn`t one of them though! Reccomending the PADI Online course is also not a solution. Thuis course not only hurts the diving business but it continously leads to customer complaints. Did any one resd this? - Qutoe from the PutAnoterDollarIn Website: "The PADI Open Water Diver Course online is $120 (US) nonrefundable. The fee covers your knowledge development training and gives you unlimited access to an electronic version of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual (course textbook). Your PADI Dive Center or Resort will charge an additional fee for the inwater portion of your certification. You will also need to purchase/b> a mask, snorkel, pair of fins, and other personal dive equipment. Your PADI Dive Center or Resort will guide you through this process and may suggest additional equipment along with the required purchase of a Recreational Dive Planner (Table or eRDP version) and a log book." Helloooo.... They have there hands in our pockets again buy selling the book and the accademics lessons and to compensate it they force the customer to buy fins, mask, snorkel and other dive equipment? But that`s not all here, hellooo again... They leave it to us to sell the RDP? How`s that going to work? The customer already has the book... What about the package? Guys as i said before. Scuba Diving happens in the water and diving courses happen in diving school or we can all go home and give courses on the laptop! Sorry, but someone has to say something about that once.
