I have never dove one but I have heard a lot of good things about the HOG regulators from people who use them. They work well, come at a reasonable price and unlike every other manufacture they offer courses on how to repair them yourself. Personally I think having the knowledge and ability to work on your own equipment is one of the main things that will set you apart form the recreational diver.
