I don’t know anyone going out to Malibu specific those days for bugs, however, if the conditions are good it’s almost a guarantee that some of the guys from the NBTT dive club on here (free btw) will be going hunting in Palos Verdes. You should join up with them. I also might be up for it, but have to wait and see if my office shuts down for the Xmas week. If we are busy I will probably have to work.
