It’s your money. I prefer to give the business to my favorite Local Dive Shop, but if he doesn’t have what I what at the right price I will shop elsewhere. If I buy a regulator on line but give him the yearly service, he makes the repair cost.
I have never been made to feel as if I owed him the business. Of course he is very competitive and offers great prices and service that can’t be beast. He is the kind of guy that treats you the same if you are buying an "O" ring or a new regulator set.
Even if I am only shopping his specials he is getting something. I have taking plenty of goods off his hands even if it was at a discount.
If i were made to feel awkward in any way by someone taking MY MONEY, I would do business with some one else.
