I used to dive out of my friend’s fishing boat all the time. It wasn’t a bass boat but here’s what we learned:
You’ll need to find some way of mounting your tanks or tying them down in the boat.
You’ll also need a boat ladder. We got one at Bass Pro for about $50.
The ladders are pretty strong but you will find that if you try to get back on the boat with all of your gear on, the boat will tip in your direction unless you have a big friend acting as a counterweight. I recommend attaching a tag line with a large clip to and using it to haul up your gear after you board the boat.
