I rented my own boat in Key Largo and went out to the reef at Pennekamp Park on our own. When we were done we cruised the coast a little before returning to the dock. Maybe she would feel better if you had the boat to yourselves.
By the way I’m always looking for shore diving buddies. I find shore dives are easier to schedule and cheaper which works better for me given scheduling difficulties with work.
