My friend and I stayed at the Mayan Princess and dove with Amigos del Mar which is right out the back door. They lock up your stuff in the dive shop every night and load it onto the boat before you get there in the morning. Couldn’t be easier. You should go see the Blue Hole while you’re there - don’t expect it to be the greatest dive of your life but you should say that you’ve been.
Our room at the Mayan Princess was right next to a club that had live music. We enjoyed it but if that’s not your thing, ask for a room on the other side of the building.
