I’ve stayed at both Capt Don’s and Port of Bonaire. Capt Don’s is where the big groups go and tends to be more crowded but you might like it if you like to be social and party.
I prefer Port of Bonaire. It’s right across the street from the airport but the noise didn’t really bother us. We had a 3br condo on the top floor with a balcony and an ocean view. It was much cleaner and quieter and centrally located. Yellow Submarine has a tank exchange right next door so getting air couldn’t be any more convenient.
Price-wise, they’re about the same or at least were two years ago. Hope this helps.
