Welcome... If you’re looking for a decent lake, try Lake Travis in Austin. You can camp out at Windy Point, a very nice camp site right on the water. Viz will run between 5 to 15 ft or better, depending on conditions. Plenty of sunken boats, cars, etc to explore. Air fills are available there. You might also want to try Lake Travis Scuba. They offer boat dives on the lake. Check out their web site. I’ve been out with them quite a few times. Robert, the owner, is good people.
