From slippin2darknezz: It’s always good to have and not need, than to need and not have. If your computer takes a hit and doesnt function a depth gauge would come in handy. I have both for that exact reason.
I have to agree! It’s a safety measure. Even tho you may only be going to 40 feet this time, next time you may not. It’s a good reminder to have ALL the equipment necessary for a dive so you don’t feel as if something is off.
