If you make it to Southern California you should try and hit Casino Point for the day, on Catalina Island, and hour fifteen ferry ride. It’s almost always guaranteed a great dive, compared to the West Coast in general. But drop my a line when you know the dates you will be in town and I can give you a more up-to-date recommendation.
