I prefer the GUE/DIR way. My Primary Regulator is on a seven foot long hose coming off my right post, the hose is tucked under my light canister, routed over the left side of my neck and the regulator finds it’s way over my right shoulder into my mouth. The backup is on a 26 inch hose coming off my left post, routed to come over my right shoulder as well. The backup is also wore around my neck on a necklace. The long hose is great for gas sharing while making an exit through a wreck, cave or other tight opening. The necklace keeps my backup right in front of me. I can just look down and almost pick it up with my teeth.
