If you don’t mind diving in shallow (11 ft and less), crystal clear water that is 72 degrees year round, you are a hop, skip, and jump from the Comal River in New Braunfels. Lots of tubers there this time of year but still very divable. Plenty of underwater life. Let me know if you’re interested.

Lake Travis is the local place for us Texas Swamp Divers. Lake level is very low now making shore diving a bit more difficult but definitely not impossible if you don’t mind going down and up about forty feet of stairs to get to the water. If this is not your thing, Lake Travis Scuba is the way to go. Robert Weiss runs a pontoon boat to the dive sites not accessable from the shore. You provide all the gear to include tanks. He takes folks out in the morning and afternoon. It’s $45.00 for two dives. I’ve been out with him many times and it has always been a great time and great company. Check his website out. Send me a message if you’re interested in either the boat dives or shore dives. I’d be happy to buddy up. Same goes for the Comal.
