I am back! I had a very successful dive trip to Key Largo. I am hoping to get another trip in the weekend of October 9-12. Anyone want to go? Someplace warm is always a bonus, but not a necessity :)

I was down in Big Pine Key from 9/12 - 9/18 and the conditions were horrible! The wind was bad and the current was very strong. It was hard to even snorkel, let alone dive. I’m glad your trip was better than mine!

Ocean Divers filled the tanks, but my buddy had a boat, the perfect way to dive!!!

Glad you had a good time in the Keys! Next time you’re down this way, look me up, just an hour away. BTW: did you get a chance to dive the Bib or Duane?

We did the Duane! It was probably my favorite dive! I saw rays for the first time ever (though we did see much bigger and closer eagles at Molasses reef later in the day). We also saw sharks and lots of cool stuff! I am definitely coming back to Key Largo! I would love to live there!!!!

You could not have picked a more unstable weekend... The weather chanel and local news have RAIN this weekend Oct 10 - 12...Looks like Scattered and Isolated storms though. No doubt Florida weather is unpredictable, and chances of finding sun patches are great, are you still setting up for the weekend dive?
