If it fits right, it might be a bit hard. I always get someone to zip mine up for me while keeping my hands above my head. If you have to zip yourself, bend forward to straighten out the zipper line and it will be easier to pull than when it’s bunching up with you standing straight up..

A wetsuit that fits correctly should fight you a little. For zipping up you need to find a buddy or try different positions to get that zipper aligned.

Thanks guys, I was getting frustrated with it but now I was able to zip it up.

Could be worse, I tried on an old wetsuit while home alone, took hours to get out of it :(

That almost happened to me today. The zipper got caught in the flap. I was lucky I guess.

From LatitudeAdjustment: I tried on an old wetsuit while home alone, took hours to get out of it They sure do shrink after hanging around for a winter.;)

From Eric_R: They sure do shrink after hanging around for a winter.;) People keep says wetsuits don’t shrink but how do they explain why old hoods don’t fit? I don’t have more hair and I don’t think my head swelled :)

two things: 1: lubricate your zipper: put zipper dressing on it (comes in a bottle with a brush applicator) or - cheap way: get a wad of parafin wax from a hobby store and rub it on the open zipper. 2: bring your arms back to "show some back cleavage" and have your buddy zip yourself up. Let me know if either of this helps. :)

Does it have a chord on the zipper to pull it up?

I agree with Cathy. I find it easier to bring my shoulders back to relax the material on my back so that it zips up easier. Same for unzipping. But the dang zipper does seem to get caught in the flap regardless of which method you use. So there’s that.

Some days it goes on easy other days not so much. Frustration plays a factor, as I was pretty damn frustrated at it that day. Zipper wax has made it a little better though.
