Tks for the info, how far is it from Cape May ? I would like to dive also during the weekdays, anyone interested ? Do we absolutely need to dive from a boat overthere ?

By the way, how cold is the temperature at 40-60 feet deep ? Tks. Above 40 F is warm for me... temperature is cold up in Canada where I usually dive.

If you don’t want a boat your choices are limited, there is a pond inland, the Atlantus off Cape May which scares the hell out of me, it’s rebar sticking out of an old concrete hull in limited viz. I can just picture surge impaling a diver.
Townsand Inlet http://www.divebuddy.com/divesite.aspx?DiveSiteID=4122 up at exit 13 off the GSP is a good spot for spearfishing that I was thinking about exploring next week on a weekday but I think my wife has other plans involving honey-do-list. :( The inlet could be done this time of year in a 3 mil.
For offshore I would guess low 60’s this time of year.

I’d be interested in what dive opportunities you discover. I am about 1.5 hours from Cape May but go there often. If there is an "easy" trip that doesn’t involve too much scheduling I could probably make a day trip.
