I’m a Canadian who’s going to be in Australia from May 1st to the 30th, and New Zealand June 1st to the 6th. My only fixed plans are that I’m in Melbourne for the first week of my stay.
I’m looking for people to dive with! I don’t have a set itinerary, and I’m hoping to travel around the country a bit via plane and car. My plan is to hit local dive shops to see what’s on, but I’d way rather find local divers to connect with and dive with while I’m there.
I’m a fairly experienced and well-trained DIY-style diver, and I’ll have a full set of single-tank equipment with me (minus tanks). I have a particular interest in wrecks, but I’m up for anything wrecks, reefs, GBR, shore dives, migrations whatever.
My certs:
Rescue, NAUI Intro to Tech, Wreck Survey, Wreck Penetration I, Nitrox, Drysuit.
