This is the first meeting. I am working on being able to do scuba karaoke, it may work by then. For initiation you have to make up your own words to "What will we do with the drunken sailor", except change it to "What will we do with the drunken diver" and add your own verse or be forced to swim with a mermaid tail and wig while we take pictures and we figure out what more we can add to your initiation. I will have a few other underwater activities.

The pictures show underwater windows and a heater that burns wood underwater to heat the pool. It only costs about $1 / day to heat this 70,000 gallon pool it is worth looking at if you do not think wood can burn underwater. If you want a long term project you can get one of the underwater vehicles restored. The last pic is an indoor heated pool we can use for our winter meetings.

I will have scuba gear you can borrow if you don’t have it. This is our summer meeting place, the pool is 25 meters long and 12’ deep. If you come early in the afternoon you can either teach a scuba refresher course or take one.

The location is pretty rough, it is at a fishing shack on lake lanier. You can call or text me if you have questions.

Let me know if you are coming so I know how many to expect.

I don’t have much time. But I would like to be a part of this club and help out when time permits.

I am also the leader of Pack 114 Special Scouts in Cumming. The website that I listed when you click "more info" above describes a 30 episode TV series to employ disabled people like my son that right now takes place at our winter meeting place shown above. Year round meetings will eventually take place in a three story building that will enclose the pool at our summer meeting place.

I am hoping that this club will produce a few leaders and volunteers to help with some of our activities for special scouts. We have males and females of all ages as people with developmental disabilities do not age out of scouts.
