Something to kick around when you do meet, since I can’t make it, is that I offer easy trips to Bonne Terre Mine through the winter months for those of you who’d like to keep diving without cutting ice or taking time off to fly south. Typically I’ll leave on Friday evening (5PM-ish) to arrive in Bonne Terre before midnight, stay over to dive up to three dives Saturday, and then return to Des Moines around midnight Saturday night. I have a comfortable 7 passenger van available for cost sharing of fuel, etc. TOTAL cost for a 3-dive trip, per person, is typically around $325 without gear rental.
