Mandy Thompson will be our guest speaker this month. She will be presenting her topic on Hyperbaric Medicine. How did HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) come into use? She will give some history of diving and decompression injuries. Current treatment of diving injuries and how does it work? Plus other uses for HBOT.

Mandy has been an Internist and Hospitalist for 19 years in the D/FW area. She completed her Hyperbaric Medicine Team Training in 2005. She has been a Scuba Diver since 1994 and PADI Instructor since 2001.
