Journey with Gentle Giants is a unique scuba diving experience inside
the Ocean Voyager 6.3-million-gallon saltwater tank at the Georgia
aquarium. The exhibit houses thousands of fish including whale sharks,
zebra sharks, sawfish, leopard whiprays, bowmouth guitarfish, humphead
wrasses, pompano, and several species of rays... to name a few. =)

Diving guests must be SCUBA certified and and all participates must be
at least 12 years of age to participate. Guests under 18 require an
adult in the water to accompany them.

The experience lasts 2.5
hours and guests will spend approximately 30 minutes underwater in the
massive aquarium. Participants also get to view behind-the-scenes areas
of the aquarium.

A portion of the proceeds from this program
are donated to the Aquariums 4R conservation program, which promotes the
aquariums efforts in the areas of rescue, rehabilitation, research, and
responsibility. The program enables the Georgia Aquarium to continue
making a positive impact in the health and welfare of aquatic life from
