====================== NEW DATES 10/12 - 10/14 =================
Due to weather conditions, we had to cancel our last dive trip. It has been rescheduled as follows:

Come join us for an exciting 2-tank dive in exploring the Texas Clipper which is a 473 foot ship which sits between 60 and 130 feet deep. This vessel is the largest of 12 artificial reefs off the Texas coast at 7000 tons and 17 nautical miles off the coast of South Padre Island.We will be diving the Clipper on Sunday, 10/13, leaving the marina at 6:00 am and returning by 2:00 pm. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A SIGNAL TUBE.The dive trip cost is $200 p.p., and it includes breakfast, drinks (water and sodas), tank, weights, and the dive operator’s fuel surcharge. For those wanting to dive with Nitrox, there is an additional $10/cyl cost.

Our plan is to depart for our road trip from San Antonio some time Saturday morning on 10/12, arrive into South Padre Island, get checked into our rooms and relax for the afternoon and evening (still working on hotel group rates which are dependent on group size. Preliminary estimates indicate approximately $80 pp). The following morning, we will rise and shine before the chickens to catch the 6:00 am departure from the marina. Since we know we are going to be POOPED, we will return to San Antonio the following day (Monday - Columbus Day Holiday).

Although the highest portions of the wreck may be explored by entry level divers (guided recommendation), Advanced Open Water Divers and Nitrox certifications are highly recommended by American Diving.

A $50 security deposit is required to hold your spot. Deposits become non-refundable after 10/06. If the dive is cancelled by the dive operator due to weather, refunds will be issued.

Not Open Water, Advanced Open Water Diver or Nitrox certified? Then please check out the upcoming dates for classes available. If the existing classes do not fit into your schedule, do not fret, a class JUST for you may be scheduled to accommodate your busy life. For gear rental reservations, additional trip details and to pay your deposit, please contact SA Scuba Shack at 210.718.0868. Or, you may send us an email at info@sascubashack.com.

This is going to be a VERY exciting dive and am looking forward to diving with you. :-) Non-divers are welcome to join us. Although you cannot join us on the boat ride, there are plenty of beaches to hang out.
