I’m going on a two day dive trip to the Flower Gardens of Texas. It’s only 100 miles off the coast of Galveston but has a reef complete with the usual ocean life you expect to see in the tropics. It’s the north-most point in the Gulf with these diving conditions. Water is less than 100ft, warm, and clear.
The boat leaves the evening of 8/22 and you wake up ready to dive on 8/23. Five days that day. Then while you sleep the boat motors to a new spot and you dive most of 8/24. Then the boat motors back and you’re back on shore by 5pm. The boat is a live-a-board so provides sleeping quarters along with all food, drinks, snacks, air, etc included with the price.
