Conditions Expected: 2-3 ft surf, High Tide at 9:50 AM, Average Site Depth: 30 feet as much as 70 ft several hundred yards West.

Depth Of Location: 45 feet max
How To Get There: See above.
When To Dive: Summer and Fall, high surf in the winter.
Where To Dive: Best area on south east edge of cove off the point with kelp forest and mini wall /overhangs.
What You May Find: Lobsters, Sand bass, Sheep head, Scallops, garibaldi, bat rays, Horn sharks, Leopard Sharks, harbor seals, sea lions, crabs. Mini wall on south side of the cove nice kelp forest there too.
Site Hazards: Rocky entry small rocks and boulders the entry and exit is a very specific area around the middle of the cove in front of the former shack. Avoid exiting near or approaching too close to the rocky area to the south of the entry point. Other hazards include numerous urchin beds therefore good buoyancy is recommended.
Site Facilities: None at this site, Starbucks and mini mall up the road 10 min
Notes Of Interest: Beautiful Secluded Cove, One of best dive sites on the mainland. Typically 15 ft better visibility than other sites and 40 ft visibility during Summer is not uncommon.
Emergency Information:
Palos Verdes Fire Department (North) : Limited or no cell phone reception at bottom of the cove. 10 minute hike up the trail to residences in front of the cove.
