Bring plenty of water to drink and rinse (stay cool)









Catalina like visibility and marine life!


Conditions Expected: 2-3 Ft Surf (may have to just hit the outer West Reef, High Tide 8:50 AM


Level of Skill: Advanced (Highly Recommended)


Depth of Location: 30-40 feet (most reef shallower)


When to Dive: At High or Low Tide (with 1 - 2 ft surf max)
What you may find: Larger variety of fish, larger, and healthier reef then anywhere in mainland SoCal. Harbor seal, Bat Ray, Guitar Fish, Kelp Bass, you name it!
Site Hazards: Somewhat steep hike down hill, Some Large Boulders in the entry
Site Facilities: None

How to get there:


Directions:   I-110 South, Exit PCH go right, Left onto Calle Mayor, Left onto Palos Verdes Blvd , Right onto Paseo Lunado, left via anacapa, Right Paseo del Mar, entry point is near 2812 Paseo Del Mar You’ll see the park on your right.

Looks like the boat option conditions are getting bumpier, may do the shore dive after all.

 SUN W WINDS 5 TO 10 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. MIXED SWELL W 2 TO 4 FT AND S 2 TO 3 FT. PATCHY FOG IN THE MORNING.

Sunday the 11th the NW/SW combo should peak with chest high waves most everywhere. Note though that there will be a super deep high tide early in the morning which could slow or shutdown many spots, especially the reefs and points.

Possible boat option for Sunday for anyone wanting to pass on the hike.
I believe Diver City will be going out. Here are the marine conditions:

SUN NW WINDS 5 TO 15 KT. WIND WAVES 2 FT OR LESS. W SWELL 2 TO 3 FT. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.
