Level of Skill: Wood’s Cove is one of the best dive sites in Orange County. However, it is not well-protected from large swells, making it a little more of an advanced Dive
Depth of Location: 30-40 feet (most reef shallower)
When to Dive: At High Tide is the best, but Low tide is still ok
What you may find: Lobsters, eels, rays, octopus, garibaldi, calico bass, Kellet’s welks, tree fish, small sheepshead, bat stars, Brittle Stars and lots of purple sea urchins. On occasion you can spot a dolphin or two swimming though at the surface.

DIRECTIONS
From 405 Freeway exit Laguna Canyon Road (133) South towards Laguna Beach
Follow Laguna Canyon Road till it ends at Pacific Coast Highway (1)
Turn Left onto PCH and proceed to Diamond Street Turn Right onto Diamond Street and follow it to the end
