Conditions Expected: 1.5 ft surf, Mid Tide going from Low to High, Surf Diminishing throughout the day.
Level of Skill: Intermediate
Depth of Location: 55 ft (at Deadmans), Average: 40 ft
When to Dive: During small south swells and high tide. (3ft or less)

What you may find: Sea Lions, Guitar fish, Lobster, Scallops, Garibaldi, Large eels

Site Hazards: Occasional Large Breaking Surf, Occasional Strong Currents outside the bay.

Site Facilities: Restrooms, Showers (by south entrance) 

How to get there: From 5 FWY / 405 FWY, Take 133 to the coast, right on PCH, left on Cliff drive, Parking in residential area.

Dive Recap - Divers: Marco, Ken, Rochelle, Bottom Time: 20 minutes Depth: 41 ft, Surf: Occasional 5 - 6 ft! Temp: Warm, Vizability: 10-12 ft at bottom below thick layer of red tide. Due to a lost article got separated and practiced navigation back to shore. Very strong current going West on the bottom. Strangely the surface current was going east which flattened the kelp and made locating deadmans more difficulty.
