I will be going on a month long trip aboard the FeBrina. We will be doing exploratory diving on the South Shore of New Britain Island. This shore has been relatively unexplored, due to its remoteness. Alan Raabe has done some exploring there and has found some exceptional new sites, including wonderful new "muck" sites. It can be a real crapshoot, and you have to be willing to take what you get. I was on another exploratory dive trip to the Duke of York Islands and the Gazelle Peninsula in PNG with Alan. We found stunning new sites, where Alan put down new moorings for future use. Alan is a dive conservationist who has put down many of the permanent moorings used by all of the PNG liveaboards. There are a few spots left on the boat, but, due to the length of the trip (it COULD be broken in half for people who can`t stay the whole time)it is a bit pricey.
