(all inclusive, breakfast, 2 dives a day for 7 days, 2 night dives, 2 camel dives, rock climbing day) Eleven dives including two night dives. DAY ONE Starting with an easy dive in the LIGHTHOUSE, one of Dahab`s most beautiful reefs and most accessible dive site. Then we will move to EEL GARDEN where you can meet all these shy sand eels and a wide variety of marine life. If the weather is not allowing the Eel Garden we will make our way to THE ISLANDS. One of Dahab`s greatest reef formations, like a colorful labyrinth. We are most likely to encounter this school of barracuda and travelly fish and maybe a turtle will come along. DAY TWO For advanced divers we will go the great dives north of Dahab, the CANYON and the big brother BLUE HOLE. Then after a reasonable surface interval we will go back to LIGHTHOUSE reef where we are going to make our night dive and look out for Spanish Dancers. For open water divers we will have a variety of dives to do, either to the Southern Oasis of Dahab where we can dive at MORRAY GARDEN, THREE POOLS or GOLDEN BLOCKS. DAY THREE For advanced divers we will go south and make a great dive in the CAVES, which is Dahab`s most south dive site accessible by jeep and then we will go to dive the THREE POOLS. For open water divers we will go north to see the beautiful CORAL GARDEN and then we will visit one of Dahab`s most colorful sites at RECK`S REEF. DAY FOUR In day four we will take it easy and go to MASHRABA where we might encounter some of the big marine life and then later in the afternoon we will make our way to the ISLANDS. In the evening we will go again and give the ISLANDS a visit for an amazing night dive. DAY FIVE In day five we will go north to one of the greatest coral carpets called ABU HELAL, then we will be heading back to chill out. THISTLEGORM This is quite rightly, one of Dahab most popular safaris. The Thistlegorm was a British WWII transport ship that was on its way to supply arms to the Allied Forces in North Africa. Whilst at anchor, it was hit by a single bomb dropped by a German Long-Range bomber based on Cyprus. The ship was blown in two and sank instantly with the loss of seven lives. The Thistlegorm now sits upright, at a maximum depth of thirty meters. The stern which has blown off tilts at angle of around 45 degree. Scatterd around the wreck, lay many artifacts, including bren gun carriers, shell cases and a locomotive. On the deck are more locomotives, torpedos, and at the rear there is an Anti Craft Gun, which makes for an excellent photo opportunity. Inside the holds are BSA motorbikes, trucks and thousands of rubber boots. The wreck is a haven for many very large fish, which use it to shelter from the strong currents that often prevail in the area. Your first dive will be around the outside of of the wreck, and the second dive will be inside the the holds.
