The California Department of Boating and Waterways and the California Coastal Commission’s and Boating Clean & Green Program, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the University of California Cooperative Extension - Sea Grant Extension Program, the California Department of Fish and Game, The Santa Monica Bay Restoration Foundation, the Santa Monica Windjammers and the Fairwind Yacht Clubs
invite you to participate in two
FREE Invasive Species Workshops FOR:
- Boaters
- Fishermen
- Marina and Yacht Club Operators
- State and Local Officials, and
- Interested Parties
LEARN HOW TO:
- Protect the quality of recreation and aquatic ecosystems
- Identify aquatic invasive species
- Understand their economic costs and operational impacts
- Inspect watercrafts and fishing gear to prevent the spread of invasive species in California waterways.
