This is an old picture, there are now large shade trees along the road and park benches in the green between the parking lot and the bridge. A port-a-potty is at the eastend of the parking lot near Spikes seafood which BTW a good place to eat. A 7-11 is across the street. Entry is down the ramp near the bridge, do not dive in front of the parking lot, that’s for fishermen. Students are usually in front of the bridge silting up the place so go under the bridge and turn right staying near the causeway, to your left is a boat channel going from the marina in the picture to the main boat channel. Beware of idiots fishing from the railroad bridge. Fishermen have been known to jump from this bridge when the train comes! People spear fish here, vis can be limited so don’t look like a fish!
