The Inverted Cliff is a boat accessible fresh water dive site, located in North Hatley, QC, Canada. The maximum depth is over 150ft/46m.
There is a smooth wall that deserves the description of "more than vertical"! At 100 feet, the slope is reversed and the base of the cliff is more than three meters inside the wall. It is this kind of spectacular overhang that makes diving at Lake Massawippi so fascinating.
An easy route is to anchor your boat in shallow water immediately north of the cliff which is very apparent out of the water. You can then proceed underwater to the south between 30 and 45 feet. Shortly after you will arrive at the underwater cliff itself. The cliff is relatively narrow and it is possible to visit it in its entirety during a dive.
