Excellent location from beginner to advance. Statute Ally has a depth of about 86 feet and can be dove on a 80 cu ft cylinder. However, this is an advance dive because of visibility, depth and current. The current is controlled by Duke Power and water flow can change directions. Near the shore at 20-30 feet, sandy bottom and excellent location for training or first OW dives. Near the ledge your depth can avg from 30 to 86 feet. No restrooms or food, grass parking near entrance.
Some call this location the 130 Bridge. PSD teams from around the state will use this site for training.
