Old Steamboat pier is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located in Sandy Hook, NJ. The maximum depth is 11-15ft/3-5m. The average visibility is under 5ft/2m.

This is an 1860 and up bottle dive best done in spring or fall, blooms ruin the viz in summer even more.

Park in the lot after horseshoe cove on east side of road. It’s opposite a path to shore side bunkers at NW tip of the cove. Swim south to pilings, then west
