Greenwood Lake is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located in Greenwood Lake, NY. The maximum depth is 36-40ft/11-12m.
This 9 mile long, 1 mile wide in places lake that straddiels the NJ/NY border once had paddlewheel ferry service in the early 1900’s that made 9 stops around the lake which usually means artifacts.
For divers the NY end is deeper. The bad news is most of the shoreline is private so you need to go to a public beach or bring or rent a boat. There is a lot of boat traffic so fly your flag!!
