Miss Eleanor Wreck is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located at Island Beach State Park lot 14, Seaside Park, NJ. The maximum depth is 5-10ft/2-3m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.

This might not be diveable per State regs, check with the office first.

In the past the wreck was visable at low tide, you might want to scout this out ahead of time.

Park at lot A14, take walk to beach, go south 100’, if you have a 4 wheel drive and beach permit even better. Then swim out at 100 degrees 150>200’ (the beach moves) to 10’ depth. this can be in the surf line so do it slack high tide on a calm day.

Miss Eleanor was a 75’ Clam dredge that began sinking, couldn’t make inlet and was run aground on January 4th., 1988
