Caterina or North Bone Wreck is a salt water dive site, located at Island Beach State Park lot 14, Seaside Park, NJ. The maximum depth is 21-25ft/6-8m. The average visibility is 5-10ft/2-3m.
This is 800’ offshore so maybe more of a boat dive than a shore dive. Being a mile from the inlet there is boat traffic so maybe your boat over you is a better idea than a dive float.
Caterina was a 1350 ton iron hulled Italian bark sailing from Montevideo Uruguay with a cargo of bones to be made into fertilizer. She ran aground on October 23, 1912
