Done as a drift dive from a boat. Drop in north of Makena State park. Current carries divers south by southwest past several rock formations with sandy bottom in between. One formation has a large arch that can be dove through. Sealife varies depending on time of day and year.

I went scuba diving here on 10/6/2016. Average viz: 71-80ft/22-24m. Water temp: 76-80°F/24-27°C.
saw a frogfish chilling on the bottom. super relaxing chill dive. could see doing this one many times throughout the year to increase chances of seeing some big sealife
