The Artificial Reef JJF sinks off the coast of Morehead City in honor of former Artificial Reef Director James J Francesconi. The project was inspired by Jim’s co-workers and Tim Mullane, artificial reef maker. The community came together with the local fishermen, several local sponsors, Wells Fargo, the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and local divers and dive centers to make this happen with the NC Department of Marine Fisheries.
