Location needs updating
This is one of the two most-written-about dive sites here on Guanaja. At a spot along the barrier reef wall, & about 70 feet deep is the entrance to a tunnel. You swim through thousands of silver-side sardines as you navigate this tunnel. It opens out into an amphitheater-like area with a sandy bottom surrounded by coral. Huge grouper & yellowtail converge here waiting for our divemaster to give handouts. There is almost always at least one large moray waiting also. This is an excellent photo-op site.
This incredible wall dive features a cave opening at 75 feet, leading into a sand canyon of sheer coral walls. Large Grouper, Silversides and Moray Eels make this site their home. As you drift along this wall, you will feel as if you are flying as the wall disappears into the blue-black abyss below.
