U-767 is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in France. The maximum depth is over 150ft/46m.

Sunk 18 June, 1944 in the English Channel south-west of Guernsey, in position 49.03N, 03.13W, by depth charges from the British destroyers HMS Fame, HMS Inconstant and HMS Havelock. 49 dead and 1 survivor

The discovery of U-767 a type VIIC U-boat lost in action was recently discovered by the Starfish Enterprise team whilst exploring Deep wrecks off North West France.

The first images from the wreck can now be seen on the page here below as well as historic images of the vessel and the entire story of her loss not forgetting the escape of a single man from a depth of 75m.
