Odysseus is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Paeokastritsa, Corfu, Greece. The maximum depth is 141-150ft/43-46m.

The Odysseus, an offshore rocky island, is our absolute top diving spot. Much has been written about this spot and in the international press it is listed among the top 1000 diving spots of the world. Around the Odysseus you can dive gigantic vertical walls, which descend to 120m depth. Macro underwater photographers find fantastic sponge covered spots. Close to the anchor buoy a large canyon breaks through the rock island, which under water opens to the ‘Gate to Depth’. Close to the Odysseus there are three offshore reefs. The first is the so called Dr. Max Hahn reef, which on the seaside descends to 60m. There in about 50m depth we can find the ‘Southern Cross’. In 40m depth there is cave, which goes through the whole reef and has an exit on the opposite side in 35m depth. From there you can reach the second reef. It has a wide reef plateau with its top at 25m. On the seaside it drops down to 60m. The third reef is the legendary Odysseus reef, with its top at 10m depth. On the seaside the almost vertical drop-off descends to 120m. The landscape architecture and the view of the depth are breathtaking.

Dive Spot Remarks: Spectacular underwater landscape, interesting for macro photographers, canyon, cave (only for experienced cavern divers), marine life.
The terraced structure on one side of the Odysseus makes this spot also suitable for divers at intermediate level. Diving discipline is very important at this beautiful spot.
