Coffins Patch is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Marathon, FL 33050. This dive site has an average rating of 3.50 out of 5 from 2 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 21-25ft/6-8m. The average visibility is 31-35ft/9-11m.

COFFINS PATCH is the name given to an area comprised of several reefs about four miles south southeast of Key Colony Beach. The name was reportedly derived from a vessel that sank there that was carrying a cargo of coffins. Happily, no evidence of the ship or its cargo is in existence today. All the reefs in this area support healthy fish populations and because most of them are unmarked, they are not heavily dived. They each have maximum depths of about 25 feet and a minimum depth of 7 feet.
