Samantha’s Reef is a fast boat ride out from Marathon Key Florida. It gets about 25 feet deep, and there is a great variety of fish. There were sharks, barracuda, angel fish, eels, wrasse, sergeant major, tarpon, parrot, grunts, grouper, lobsters, and many others. When the wind is blowing a little bit it can get pretty choppy. With 12-17km winds we had 3-4ft seas, and had to cancel the second tank of the dive.
