Anenados is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Nuevo Vallarta, Nayirit, Mexico. The maximum depth is 51-60ft/16-18m. The average visibility is 36-40ft/11-12m.
This dive is a drift dive. There is a pretty good surface current that gets to be less with depth. You will need a marker for the surface so the boat captain can see you better. There is a sandy bottom with shells, some rocks and coral. There are also some coral/rock arches to explore through. The dive master said that many times you may see some large nurse sharks hanging out in these areas. Did not see any this trip. We did see some small spotted stingrays, starfish, eels and a parrot fish, as well as some other varieties of west coast fish.
