This site is named for the Water and Power Authority which is the company that on a somewhat intermittent and inconsistent basis provides very expensive electric and water to the island. The site is named for WAPA because their plant is the nearest point of land. This site is part of Long Reef which is the 2nd longest barrier reef in the Caribbean. The mooring is set in 40’ of water and the reef gently slopes off from it. Lots of coral and fish life here.
