Napantao is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Napantao, Panaoan Island, Southern Leyte, Philippines. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 121-130ft/37-40m. The average visibility is 26-30ft/8-9m.

Wall dive at Panaoan Island in the Philippines. Lots of reef fish, and a large diversity of coral. Whale Sharks occasionally pass by there from November to May. There is a cavern with a couple of reef sharks in it at about 110 feet. Big Grouper and some sea turtles can be seen sometimes. The currents can be strong as the tide changes. This is a fantastic dive.

I went scuba diving here on 8/15/2013. Average viz: 36-40ft/11-12m. Water temp: 81-85°F/27-29°C.
Some current along the first wall. It eased off at the second wall. The currents can be strong enough to sweep you away at times. Saw a nice sized Banded Sea Snake on the first wall. We did not go deep enough to look in the cave. The cave is at about 40 meters down the wall. I have seen it on previous dives and it is a pretty big cave. Sometimes there are reef sharks in the cave. I have also seen a very big Potato Grouper down near the bottom of the first wall. Lots of fish and coral on the walls. On top of the two walls in the area known as the "Aquarium", the coral diversity is pretty amazing. It is an awesome dive site. Every other dive site that I have ever been to pales in comparison to Napantao.

This is without a doubt, the best dive site that I have ever been to.
