Archibald Lake is located in the Lakewood/Townsend area of Wisconsin and is over 400 acres and has 11 miles of shoreline. There are approximately 221 homes/cottages that surround Archibald Lake. The Holt Family has over 900 acres around the lake in a 90 year trust to ensure no building occurs on the Northeast portion of the lake. Among the type of fish found in beautiful Archibald Lake are Largemouth Bass, Muskie, Walleye and Panfish. The maximum depth of the lake is approximately 60 feet. 430 acre lake. There is a small boat ramp on the west end of the lake
with no frills. Lake was not anywhere near as clear as DNR website
stated.
